Will was playing hockey in the cul-de-sac when he got tripped up with the goal, and his stick.  We were scared that he had broken his leg so a trip to the emergency room was in order.  It turned thankfully to not be the case.  Here is a shot of Will in the backseat of the car with the pneumatic leg brace on that I just happen to have laying around in the first aid case.  (It is a long story :-) )

Fifth Grade Graduation - June 14th, 2007

Will was asked to say a few words about his experience at Lake Elementary school during their graduation ceremony.  Will originally wanted to back out of getting up in front of everyone, but after we talked about growing up and honoring commitments as well as how important public speaking is for men to be successful in most careers he decided not to back out.  He spoke exceptionally well with good comments and poise behind the microphone.  I was very proud.  Afterwards, we took him out to a Japanese restaurant for some of our favorite dishes.
